Effluent System Installation – Team Effort on the Ground
At Profarms, we’re committed to helping farmers get the most reliable and efficient effluent management systems in place. Our latest project involved the installation of a new dairy effluent system designed to pump effluent from a newly constructed sump for the underpass back into the main effluent storage tank at the cow shed. This type of setup ensures better storage, easier handling, and more sustainable spreading when the time comes.
This project included:
Earthworks and drainage to prepare the site
Pipework installation from the new sump to the existing effluent storage tank
Power supply connection from the cowshed to the new effluent pumping system
Pump and stirrer installation for reliable agitation and transfer
Concrete work to finish and stabilise the site
Together, these elements ensure a robust and low-maintenance effluent management system that supports compliance and efficiency on-farm.
Partnering with Local Experts
None of this would have been possible without some great team mates and local businesses backing us up. A big shout-out to:

Bowers & Sons Concrete – for the storage tank and crane truck
